Transportation and parking
RIDE YOUR BIKE
There are three exterior bike racks surrounding the entrance to the Oregon Convention Center. Bike racks are also located on levels 1 and 2 of the parking garage. View a map of bike rack locations.
TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT
Portland’s TriMet MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the Oregon Convention Center, connecting riders to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.
Portland Streetcar’s Central Loop stops at the MLK Lobby entrance every 15 minutes.
TriMet’s Bus Line No. 6 also stops at the MLK Lobby entrance and provides access to downtown stops and outlying areas. Portland TriMet MAX light rail trains stop directly in front of the OCC, along with streetcar and bus service (Line 6). Plan your trip!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
- From I-5 N: Take Exit 302A for Rose Quarter, Broadway/NE Weidler St. Turn right on NE Weidler, then right on NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The OCC is about 0.6 miles ahead on the right.
- From I-5 S: Take Exit 302A for Moda Center/City Center. Keep left at fork, following signs for Rose Quarter. Turn left on NE Weidler, then right on NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The OCC is about 0.6 miles ahead on the right.
- From I-84 W: Take Exit 1 for NE Lloyd Blvd. Continue on Lloyd Blvd, turn left on NE 7th Ave., left on NE Irving St., and left on NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- From PDX: Take I-205 South to I-84 West and follow directions above.
PARKING
Onsite parking is provided in the convention center's underground garage. You may enter the garage through either the NE Lloyd Blvd (P1) or NE First Avenue (P2) entrances. Clearance on the P1 Level is 7 feet; clearance on the P2 Level is 9 feet. We have a total of 800 spaces.
Standard Daily Parking Entry Rate
Up to 18 hours: $15 (No in and out privileges.)
Garage generally opens daily at 6:00 am.
Our garage does not accommodate RVs, campers, trucks with trailers and similar oversized vehicles. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Please allow for ample time to park. The garage can reach capacity on days with busy event schedules and area traffic may impact your arrival and departure times. On these days we recommend using public or commercial transportation. The Oregon Convention Center does not guarantee parking availability. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.
OCC is a cashless venue. To provide a faster, more efficient transaction process, they only accept credit/debit cards and touchless payment methods.
