We appreciate your interest in contributing to the success of the Oregon Wine Symposium. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all participants.

Volunteer Roles
We have a variety of roles available, including:
 
  • Registration Assistant: Help set up the registration area prior to the start of the conference. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees, general registration, and badge printing.
  • Room Monitor: Monitor the session door and answer basic questions about the event, display time warning cards for speakers, take room counts, and run the microphone for Q&A sessions.
  • Exhibitor Assistant: Assisting exhibit manager with booths on trade show floor, assisting exhibitors and sponsors, answering basic questions, giving directions, etc. during load-in or exhibitor hours
  • Directional & Welcoming Assistant: Assist with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees to different programs, restrooms, exhibitor stations, monitor attendee waste products, etc.  
  • Breakdown Support: Assist the event management team, by organizing event supplies and packing items.
 
Days / Times Available to Volunteer
 
We need volunteers on all symposium days. Our shifts have various time slots. We try our best to make volunteer shifts into 4 hour increments. 
 
  • Sunday, February 2, 2025 (FILLED)
    • Between 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Monday, February 3, 2025
    • Between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday, February 4, 2025
    • Between 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM

 

Volunteering Perk

As a token of our appreciation, volunteers will receive:

  • A Complimentary Full Conference Ticket: Volunteers will receive a full conference ticket in exchange for a 4-5 hour shift. 

 

How to Apply
To apply, please fill out the volunteer application form here. After filling out the form, within 24-72 hours we will be in touch with you to confirm a shift and time. Please respond to that email to confirm your shift, and we will then send over the registration code!

Please note, to receive a complimentary Full Conference ticket, volunteers need to confirm their 4-5 hour shift. 

Volunteering at the conference is popular and is a first come first serve process! 

Please note: to volunteer, you must not have already registered/paid for a ticket.
