Raised on a farm outside Lawrence, Kansas, Jeff studied Industrial Design at the University of Kansas while establishing a reputation as one of the Kansas City area’s top young chefs.

At 23, Jeff developed and became chef/owner of the first certified sustainable seafood restaurant located outside the coastal US.

Wanderlust soon brought Jeff to Portland, Oregon to work in the Willamette Valley and earn sommelier certifications with the CMS, WSET and SWE. A desire to become fluent in a second language and dive head first in vineyard vagabonding led him to live in Argentina for 6 years.

Jeff was GM and Sommelier for famed Argentine chef, Francis Mallmann’s Siete Fuegos restraurant, before developing and managing hospitality/winery tourism programs for The Vines of Mendoza, Bodega Gimenez-Rilli and Dr. Revana’s Bodega Corazón del Sol.

In 2016, Jeff returned to Oregon to help rebuild the wholesale distribution program for Dr. Revana’s 3 Estate wineries, traveling 40+ weeks annually for 4 years. In 2021, Jeff took over as President/GM of the Revana Portfolio, managing all operations of the international wine group.
