Elaine Heide is a career wine professional with 22 years of experience in the US trade and industry. She is the wine director for The Allison Inn & Spa where she works to build on their reputation as a top wine destination in the Pacific Northwest. Her focus as a program director is to promote local and global wine through education, inclusivity, and community. With a personal commitment to education, Elaine has earned the WSET Diploma and is currently a Stage One student with the Institute of Masters of Wine. Additionally, Elaine serves as an instructor for the WSET program at Linfield University and contributes as a freelancer to Wine & Spirits Magazine.
