Jacopo Miolo is a technician at SIMONIT & SIRCH Vine Master Pruners. He attended the wine school in Cividale del Friuli, following a passion that was passed on by his brother who has been working in the wine sector for over 20 years. In 2015 Jacopo graduated after a 6-year study path during which he specialized in viticulture and enology and became most interested in the viticultural part of the production process.

In the same year Jacopo started with SIMONIT & SIRCH, working in the vineyard to strengthen his practical knowledge in all the seasonal phases of a vineyard. In November 2016, after a year of practical work, Jacopo started his real journey with SIMONIT & SIRCH, having the opportunity to participate as a support teacher during the ITALIAN SCHOOL OF VINE PRUNING.

At the same time, Jacopo started the consultancy and training course for wineries in Italy. In June 2017 Jacopo wanted to take the opportunity to carry out a double season to speed up his personal training process, moving to South Africa where SIMONIT & SIRCH has been working for several years.
This gave him the opportunity to learn a lot about vineyard management in arid climates and short, mild winters, and to improve his knowledge of the English language.

In 2017 and 2018 Jacopo continued to carry out the work of SIMONIT & SIRCH in Italy and in South Africa. In 2019 SIMONIT & SIRCH offered Jacopo the opportunity to work in Napa Valley, providing him the opportunity to expand his knowledge influenced by the history and tradition of this area. Jacopo continues to work in the USA as a SIMONIT & SIRCH technician, giving him the opportunity to deepen his viticultural knowledge and share it with his colleagues throughout the world, as well as work to apply innovative solutions that are inspired by the experiences of the worldwide SIMONIT & SIRCH team.
