Jessica is on her third stint at Scott Laboratories and is the General Manager of the Fermentation & Enology Department. An experienced fermentation scientist with two decades of experience, she’s been involved in all aspects of fermented beverage production from material handling, processing, and fermentation to stabilization and packaging. Prior to rejoining Scott Labs she held positions at Brew Dr. Kombucha in Portland where she oversaw the Lab, QA/QC, food safety/regulatory compliance and R&D programs and at Oregon State University in the Food Science Department where she taught brewing, winemaking, and cidermaking and advised undergraduates. She is the first woman graduate of OSU’s Fermentation program and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Food Science from OSU
