Dan brings over 30 years of leadership in the wine and hospitality industry to his direct- to-consumer consulting practice today.
After culinary apprenticeships in France and New Orleans, he held management positions in corporate Food & Beverage at Hilton Hotels and fine wine retail at nationally acclaimed Martin Wine Cellar in New Orleans followed by The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley.
In 2005, E&J Gallo recruited Dan to help build their direct-to-consumer business. He helped lead their acquisitions of William Hill Estate, J Vineyards & Winery and Orin Swift as well as the restoration project of the historic Louis Martini Winery. Over his 14-year career at Gallo, Dan was a key player in the strategy to scale their consumer direct business.
Dan graduated with top honors in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism from the University of New Orleans and holds certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
