Founder and Executive Director
Rachel Adams is the founder and executive director of the Assemblage Symposium, an Oregon-based nonprofit organization aimed at the education, empowerment and advancement of underrepresented wine professionals. Named one of Wine Enthusiast Magazine's "40 Under 40" Tastemakers of 2020, Rachel is a strong advocate for a more equitable and inclusive wine industry. A hospitality veteran, Rachel managed dynamic sales, marketing and hospitality teams at many prominent Oregon wineries over the last decade including Bethel Heights Vineyard, Domaine Drouhin Oregon and Lingua Franca. Now an independent wine sales and marketing consultant, Rachel deeply enjoys her work supporting direct-to-consumer winery teams with web design and ecommerce, program planning and promotion, and graphic design. Rachel is also currently pursuing a master's degree in organizational leadership at Brandman University. She lives in Newberg with her wife, Lexi, and two fur babies, Henry and Penelope.
