Remy is a McMinnville native, enchanted by making wine since her childhood years, which were largely spent playing in the homes and cellars of Oregon's wine industry pioneers. She garnered her first harvest position at 14 years old and at 25 started her eponymous Remy Wines, having worked and studied at home and abroad. Remy grew her business to include multiple product lines and locations as well as custom crush services. Remy has been civically active in her community through various boards and committees and currently is in her second term on the McMinnville City Council where she chairs the Affordable Housing Task Force. She was a founding member of the Willamette Valley Winery Association's Diversity, Equity, Belonging and Inclusion (DEBI) committee and is continuing that work through the Education committee of the Oregon Wine Board. Remy requires DEI training for her employees and successfully lobbied for mandatory DEI training for McMinnville city officials.
